About Us

FADISOL origin dates back to the 70s. Having been agriculture and livestock producers, the company directors decided to establish a service and trade company for oily grains and seeds, understanding that a comprehensive approach was necessary to defend production commercially.

We have consolidated our position both in the domestic and the international market through agreements, representations, licenses with nationally and internationally renowned companies, in several fields and in different sectors of the supply chain.

FADISOL has silo plants in Ombúes de Lavalle (Colonia), Nueva Palmira (Soriano) and Ansina (Tacuarembó), as well as seed, fertilizer and agrochemical warehouses in Ombúes de Lavalle, Salto, Treinta y Tres and direct deliveries from warehouses in Montevideo.

With entrepreneurial spirit and vision of the agricultural future of the country, we have developed the integration of the production chain through Maquiombues S.A, S.A Uruguayas Grain Terminals and Cargo partners were Ombúes S.A. in its infancy. FADISOL promotes a port Project in the Tacuari River to be used a gate for production to reach Brazil and the world, and we make progress working for Lagoon Merín to receive maintenance and be dredged thus favoring river transport.

Last but not least, FADISOL has been encouraged by its important regional representations to set up operation centers in Brazil and Paraguay, contributing with state-of-the-art genetics related to summer hybrids and forage to benefit producers of such countries.

Mission

Constantly seeking and achieving an appropriate framework for agricultural businessmen and producers to be able to satisfy their needs, thus contributing to our country’s common welfare.

We are committed to provide products and services, working permanently to add value to them. We aim at achieving a high level of satisfaction in all the chain elements: Producers, Customers, Suppliers, Employees and the Community.

GRAINS

With a wide trajectory and a significant presence in the grain market, we have acquired a significant experience and track record on this matter, for great marketing efficiency and versatility, offering high specialization for trading and providing grain and oilseed conditioning services.

The company is focused on providing an excellent service and achieving great trade liquidity, offering businesses 365 days a year for this production.
One of the fundamental pillars to conduct this activity is promoting long-lasting relationships with first-line producers and customers that will grow every year in terms of knowledge and quality.

SEEDS

Our trajectory in the seed market in the domestic and international level stands out for providing farmers, livestock breeders and dairy producers with the best products, offering a wide variety of fodder seeds, both public and exclusive varieties, as well as winter and summer crop seeds.

We have been pioneers at promoting the Plant Variety Protection System and the Technological Value System, as founder partner of URUPOV.

Currently with a range of new varieties obtained by Uruguayan researchers, we not only produce and export seeds developed under this system, but we are also exporting the result of the endeavors and the intellectual capacity of our country’s technicians.

FADISOL Semillas Paraguay S.A. is located in Santa Rita city, Alto Paraná Department, agricultural center of the country, and 70 km away from the triple border. FADISOL and PANNAR, from the South African Republic, entered into an exclusivity agreement in 2006, aiming at developing the maize, sorghum and sunflower hybrid market in Paraguay.

Since then, we started testing in different areas of the country to determine which genetics better adapt to several situations. After identifying best-cycle, best health performance and best performance hybrids, official trials started being conducted in 2007 for registering such materials at the national level. In 2009 the genetic scope was expanded and official trials with silo sorghum and high oleic sunflower materials were included.

For our human team, developing the Paraguayan market for PANNAR hybrid seeds is a challenge, and thus we have entered into strategic alliances with local and regional companies. We have a local technical team devoted to investigation and development of new materials in different regions.

After 20 years exporting fodder seeds to different companies in Brazil, in 2007 FADISOL Semilha Sementes Ltda was created in Cohilha, 15 km away from the Passo Fundo city in Rio Grande do Sul.

The company aims at trading high-quality temperate fodder seeds (both public and protected varieties) in the south of Brazil. It has a local technical team devoted to implement trials and demonstration projects in several areas of the region, and it has entered into strategic alliances with dairy companies, cooperatives and institutions that allow successfully targeting our seeds.

LOGISTICS

We define logistics as the provision of means and methods for the grains to go through the supply production, from the farm to plants, conditioning, to their final destination. It is the bridge between production and markets. We provide conditioning and storage services in silo plants, transport services to such facilities and then to the final destination, both for merchandise we produce, as well as for merchandise produced by third parties.

Uruguay has exponentially grown in grain organization, and making logistics efficient in general. FADISOL has its own silo plants in Ombúes de Lavalle, Tacuarembó and Nueva Palmira, and contracted ones in Montevideo and Río Branco. Besides, we have storage space in Nueva Palmira port, more specifically in Navíos.

Simultaneously, we have an exclusive agreement with Cargo Ombúes S.A., which has its own, and contracted, state-of-the-art units. The objective is achieving the greater efficiency, working extended hours that allow totally unloading production that flows from the fields, and loading the cargo to be delivered to its final destination, shortening as much as possible the time trucks have to wait.

Producers may track their daily unloading in different plants, the quality of their harvest, as well as monitor and control their harvest in real time on the internet.
