FADISOL origin dates back to the 70s. Having been agriculture and livestock producers, the company directors decided to establish a service and trade company for oily grains and seeds, understanding that a comprehensive approach was necessary to defend production commercially.
We have consolidated our position both in the domestic and the international market through agreements, representations, licenses with nationally and internationally renowned companies, in several fields and in different sectors of the supply chain.
FADISOL has silo plants in Ombúes de Lavalle (Colonia), Nueva Palmira (Soriano) and Ansina (Tacuarembó), as well as seed, fertilizer and agrochemical warehouses in Ombúes de Lavalle, and direct deliveries from warehouses in Montevideo.
With entrepreneurial spirit and vision of the agricultural future of the country, we have developed the integration of the production chain through Maquiombues S.A and S.A Uruguayas Grain Terminals. FADISOL promotes a port Project in the Tacuari River to be used a gate for production to reach Brazil and the world, and we make progress working for Lagoon Merín to receive maintenance and be dredged thus favoring river transport.
Last but not least, FADISOL has been encouraged by its important regional representations to set up operation centers in Brazil and Paraguay, contributing with state-of-the-art genetics related to summer hybrids and forage to benefit producers of such countries.
Constantly seeking and achieving an appropriate framework for agricultural businessmen and producers to be able to satisfy their needs, thus contributing to our country’s common welfare.
We are committed to provide products and services, working permanently to add value to them. We aim at achieving a high level of satisfaction in all the chain elements: Producers, Customers, Suppliers, Employees and the Community.

One of the fundamental pillars to conduct this activity is promoting long-lasting relationships with first-line producers and customers that will grow every year in terms of knowledge and quality.
Our trajectory in the seed market in the domestic and international level stands out for providing farmers, livestock breeders and dairy producers with the best products, offering a wide variety of fodder seeds, both public and exclusive varieties, as well as winter and summer crop seeds.
We have been pioneers at promoting the Plant Variety Protection System and the Technological Value System, as founder partner of URUPOV.
Currently with a range of new varieties obtained by Uruguayan researchers, we not only produce and export seeds developed under this system, but we are also exporting the result of the endeavors and the intellectual capacity of our country’s technicians.

Complementing from July 2018 with the development of imported agricultural machinery second-hand, betting on the improvement of technology for different types of soils.
After 20 years exporting fodder seeds to different companies in Brazil, in 2007 FADISOL Semilha Sementes Ltda was created in Cohilha, 15 km away from the Passo Fundo city in Rio Grande do Sul.
The company aims at trading high-quality temperate fodder seeds (both public and protected varieties) in the south of Brazil. We define logistics as the provision of means and methods for the grains to go through the supply production, from the farm to plants, conditioning, to their final destination. It is the bridge between production and markets. We provide conditioning and storage services in silo plants, transport services to such facilities and then to the final destination, both for merchandise we produce, as well as for merchandise produced by third parties.
Uruguay has exponentially grown in grain organization, and making logistics efficient in general. FADISOL has its own silo plants in Ombúes de Lavalle, Tacuarembó and Nueva Palmira, and contracted ones in Montevideo and Río Branco. Besides, we have storage space in Nueva Palmira port, more specifically in Navíos.
Producers may track their daily unloading in different plants, the quality of their harvest, as well as monitor and control their harvest in real time on the internet.
